Why this app exists

A center is more than a building. It is the Sunday bhajan that needs three more voices, the Saturday morning class where a teacher is welcoming a new child, the volunteer signup that fills up the moment it opens, and the festival the whole sangha has been waiting for. Holding all of that together — across phones, group chats, paper rosters, and forwarded emails — is work, and the work usually lands on a handful of devoted officers.

NB SAI Center was built to lift that weight. One quiet app, in the rhythm of the center itself, where devotees can show up, sign up, and stay connected — and where officers, teachers, and parents have the tools they need without ever having to learn something complicated.

What you can do

See today, clearly. The home screen opens to this Sunday's bhajan and study circle, anything that still needs your help, and the next event on the calendar. No feeds. No noise.
Devotion sign-ups in two taps. Add yourself to Sunday bhajan singing — choose your instrument, the bhajans you plan to lead, and your preferred scale. Join the weekly study circle just as easily.
Volunteer service that fills itself. Officers post upcoming seva opportunities — shelter visits, langar prep, community kitchens — and members claim their spot from the home screen.
Sai Spiritual Education, organized. Teachers see their group, the per-quarter curriculum, weekly attendance, and a private space for class notes. Parents see their own child's quarter, the comments their teacher has shared, and any signups their family belongs to.
A shared calendar. Satsangs, retreats, festivals, and center observances — with RSVPs, location details, and the kind of clarity that keeps everyone aligned.
Profiles that respect the community. Your role, your contributions, and your consents — all in one place, with the ability to manage or revoke anything you've agreed to.

Built for the NB SAI sangha

This app was designed alongside the devotees, teachers, and officers who would actually use it. Every screen reflects how a center already works — the same words ("bhajan," "study circle," "seva," "quarter"), the same rhythms, the same care for children's privacy and the dignity of every member's role. It is not a generic community platform with a saffron coat of paint. It is built for this work.

Roles are explicit but never showy. Members, teachers, and officers each see exactly what they need; nobody is ranked, no one is ever a "VIP" or a "premium" devotee.

Privacy and trust

Communities run on trust, and we treat that trust as the most important feature of the app.

Minor data is protected. Information about students in Sai Spiritual Education — names, attendance, teacher notes — is visible only to that group's teachers and the child's enrolled parent. Acknowledgement is captured from every parent and teacher before any minor data is recorded.
Audit-trailed consents. Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, the liability disclaimer, and minor-data acknowledgement are versioned and individually revocable. You can read what you agreed to, when, and step back from any of it.
Account deletion is one tap. No emailing support, no waiting; your account and personal data are removed, and the things you contributed are tomb-stoned so the center's records stay coherent without exposing you.
No advertising. No third-party analytics. No data sold, ever. The app speaks only to its own backend.
