Why Murmur

Murmur is a voice-first AI assistant that lives on your Apple Watch. Raise your wrist, tap Ask, and speak your question — the AI gives you a short, spoken answer in seconds. No phone in hand, no app-switching, no scrolling. It's made for the questions that are too involved for a quick glance but not worth pulling out your phone and opening a chat app: conversions, quick facts, "how do I…", "what's the difference between…". Ask, hear the answer, move on.

What you can do

Add the complication and Ask is always one tap from the watch face. Dictate a question with the watch's built-in dictation and Murmur returns a short, direct reply — 15 words or fewer — shown on screen and read aloud, so you can keep your eyes off the screen entirely. Follow-ups keep their thread: ask "what about in miles?" right after a conversion and it understands. Every answer is a real AI response, not a canned one.

Murmur is opinionated. It is not a general chatbot crammed onto a small screen — it is a focused little tool that does one thing well: answers, on your wrist. Sign in once on the iPhone companion app and after that everything happens on the watch. With an LTE Apple Watch you can leave the phone behind entirely and still ask from anywhere.

Privacy and trust

Murmur uses watchOS's system dictation, so it never asks for its own microphone permission. The question you dictate is sent to a private server-side AI model to generate the answer; your account email and user id are collected only to sign you in. No tracking, no ads, no third-party analytics. You can delete your account at any time.

Murmur is free to try every day — three answers a day at no cost. Murmur Pro unlocks unlimited questions for $2.99/month or $19.99/year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
