Cyber-insurance renewals have turned into homework. Every carrier sends a different questionnaire, every answer needs evidence behind it, and a solo MSP or vCISO is doing this across a whole portfolio of clients at once. Binder gives you one place to hold the evidence, answer the questionnaires, and prove readiness — without pretending the software is the one signing off.

Why Binder

Binder drafts, you attest. This is the line the whole product is built around. Claude reads the carrier's questionnaire and drafts answers from your stored evidence, but every draft lands in a review queue marked needs review. Nothing is ever presented as "verified" — answers you approve are recorded as MSP self-attested, and an attestation block is stamped into the export. If the evidence is missing or stale, Binder says so instead of making something up.

What you can do

Keep one control library, reused across clients. Maintain your security controls once — MFA, backups, EDR, access reviews — and track each client's status against them as ok, warning, or gap. A readiness ring shows where every client stands at a glance.

Store evidence where it belongs. Attach the actual proof — policy docs, screenshots, config exports — to each control, per client, in a private per-tenant repository. Row-level security keeps every client's data walled off from every other.

Turn a carrier PDF into drafted answers. Upload the insurer's questionnaire and Claude parses it into discrete questions, maps each one to the relevant control, and drafts an answer from the evidence you've stored — flagging every question where the evidence is a gap or is out of date.

Review, edit, and export with a clean paper trail. Work through the drafts, fix what's off, and export a questionnaire PDF with an evidence appendix, a self-attestation block, and clear liability language. The export is audit-logged.

Privacy and trust

Every client's controls and evidence are isolated by row-level security — scoped to your organization and no one else's. Evidence files live in private storage buckets, never public. The AI never sees another tenant's data, and it never attests on your behalf: confidence scoring stays internal, answers are recorded as self-attested by you, and the export makes the human sign-off explicit. Claude is run under a no-training arrangement.
